What are the clear charms made of?

Our charms are made from natural clear quartz that has been melted down into a glass-like material. This produces a very strong and clear pendant that is durable enough to last many years. As the entire pendant plus bail is custom cast as one piece, the pendant can be worn regularly (including in the shower or at the gym) without risking wear and tear. 

Will the paint on my jewelry fade? 

No—we use jewelry-grade glass and enamel paint that is fired at a high temperature to fuse the paint to the body of the charm. This process ensures that the designs stay vibrant and strong.

Designs shouldn’t chip or scratch with normal wear. While our painted charms are waterproof, we do not recommend wearing them in the pool or ocean. If for some reason your piece does get damaged, please contact us to discuss restoration or repair. (We put a lot of effort and care into each piece, and we want to make sure you are happy with the one you have.)

Is St’Valent jewelry hypoallergenic?

We offer several options for pendant chains, all of which are hypoallergenic (nickel and copper free). Our default is sterling silver, which can be easily polished to restore shine with a silver-polish cloth and is included in your package.  

We also offer gold-filled chains. Unlike plated or vermeil pieces, gold-filled has a thick layer of real gold, making it about 100x more durable than regular gold plating. This extra thickness means it's resistant to tarnishing, even with daily wear. Plus, it's also hypoallergenic.

For certain pieces, we use natural gemstone beads such as pearls, aquamarines, and tanzanites. If you would like to request a charm on a certain type of beaded necklace, please contact us at art@stvalent.com 

How do I take care of my St’Valent jewelry?

• Store your charms individually in the protective pouch/box they arrived in or in a dedicated section of your jewellery box. 
• Gold-filled chains and stainless steel chains are naturally resistant to tarnish—however, to ensure your sterling silver chain remains shiny and bright, gently polish fingerprints and oil off your jewelry with a soft cloth before storage. If it does tarnish, silver jewelry can be easily re-polished using a silver polishing cloth.

Shipping & Delivery Times

How long will my order take?

Available charms from the initial charm drop (February 1st, 2025) will ship within 2-3 business days. 

We ship via USPS, UPS, and FedEx in both the United States and Canada. Once you have placed your order, if the item is in stock we will ship it out within two business days. Shipping within the US usually takes 5-7 business days. Shipping to Canada generally takes 1-2 weeks. Canadian customers will be charged for duties upon delivery if they want their piece insured for the full amount.

*Custom designs will take 1-2 weeks to ship from the confirmed commission date.

Can I return my piece for a return or exchange?

Due to the nature of our artwork being made by hand, we do not accept returns or refunds unless the piece has been damaged during shipping. Please make sure you love the piece before buying it.

In case of fault or damage, please contact us (art@stvalent.com) for assistance. Repairs for damage caused by wear or accident will be chargeable.

Do you ship overseas? 

Yes! We’re happy to send your desired jewelry on an international journey. If you have any questions about shipping, please feel free to contact us for advice.

My order is a gift. How will it be packaged? 

All orders are nestled in a luxurious suede pouch and packaged carefully within a standard outer box.

Can I customize one of your designs? 

Yes! We love creating personalized, customized, or fully bespoke designs. Please follow this link to begin your journey. Generally, after receiving an initial deposit, custom designs take between 1-2 weeks to complete.

How much is a custom piece of jewelry? 

Prices for bespoke pieces will vary, depending on the piece and design chosen. A price will always be agreed on before commencing work. We offer a Bespoke Lookbook with information on varying prices and sizes.

Bespoke projects require a 50% deposit, with the rest of the balance due on completion of your piece. As these pieces cannot be resold or refunded, all personalised or custom sales are final.
